What customers say?

“ Enormous coffee servings! Super happy to find a place that serves decent size mugs of coffee. Friendly staff and nice front courtyard area ”

“ Nice atmosphere for morning breakfast with in or outdoor seating. Service was friendly and food tasted nice. Omelette flavours were a little plain, but cooked nicely. Flatbread was nice and soft with nice flavours. Highly recommend a tart takeaway or dine, they have plenty to choose from. If you can't decide, just take 6 in a box. The Rhubarb Masipan tart was great. ”

“ Here visiting Adelaide and wanted to explore the area where we come across Swedish Tarts. The space is a beautiful open outdoor / indoor area tastefully decorated with crisp white walls, mix of wood and leather chairs and lots of plants. The music was gave a good vibe and the staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I had the eggs benetict with bacon and a side of blistered tomatoes. The hollandaise sauce wasn’t overpowering and complemented the meal. The poached eggs were perfect and my meal had lots of bacon! The portion sizing was a lot for me but I finished the plate as it was so delicious! Would highly recommend if you’re ever in the area to stop by here for not only the food but the friendly environment that the Swedish Tart team has created. ”

“ I had the chilli scrambled eggs with bacon and my partner had the health bowl. Both were tasty and well presented. Lovely character cafe across from Coles; well worth a visit ”

“ While I’m sure this place is typically lovely - and it is always pumping with people. I took my elderly aunt who was recovering from surgery, and the staff were very short with her. I’d almost use the word snappy. It wasn’t warm and welcoming of someone elderly, which surprised me. Possibly a bad day for the staff? Possibly because it was a late morning and the staff needed more coffee themselves? HAHA! But honestly the staff member was what turned me off. The food was lovely. The coffee perfect. The atmosphere awesome. ”

“ Nice vibe and great food. Tables aren’t squished together like lots of other cafes at Glenelg. ”

“ A Homey Breakfast Spot! This place truly feels like home. The cozy, peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect spot to catch up over coffee and breakfast with my bestie. Highly recommend the latte, which is smooth with beautiful art, and tastes as good as it looks. The salmon quiche is absolutely irresistible, and if you’ve got a sweet tooth, the walnut espresso is a must-try! ”
